Greetings Mortal;

My name is Jalf and your about to enter my home, my vault, my center of knowledge.
Know this, if you choose to continue on you will never see the world in the same way.
All that you think you know will be in question, and all the wild dreams both of light and dark, will hold all new meaning.

Think hard and long, through this doors I'll show you my journeys and knowledge I've gained. I'll show you the creature and beings, the mighty and the meek. I'll show you the realm that co-exists with yours, on top of, around and in it. I'll show you the realm of the Fae!

Your world has always held them in lore, mystery, and fear. Humanity once thought of them and lived with the Fae. But as human culture grew so did it's arrogance and conflict started between the immortal Fae and Humanity. Although they as a whole are stronger, wiser, and hold vast powers of magic, humanity had numbers, lies, and a hatred of the unknown.

To conserve their way of life the Fae created a world of Magic that lives touching and around this one. Although most went to this realm not all left your world, some stay. Some hide in the wilderness, tending and caring for the wild. Others hide in plain sight, pretending to be human or normal everyday objects.

Next time you see that butterfly that is so large and beautiful, look close see through the glamour, see the Butterfly for what it really is. Fairies, Elves, Dragons, Trolls, Vampires, and so much more all hide around us.

Now know this they hide from humanity and they avoid open exposure, but they are in no way meek or weak. The Fae are immortal, there bodies can heal from most any wound, disease never touches them, even time can't age them. Magic comes naturally to most, they can wield the powers of raw elements, creation, and in some even hold sway over life and death. Humanity once feared the night and with good reason, the thing that goes bump in the night may really be trying to eat you.
All this and so much more I have to offer, the knowledge I've sweat, and bled to attain.

But one last warning, the Fae don't like mortals to know about them, they prefer to remain hidden, so woe to those who enter unprepared. I've sought out the courts of the Sidhe to seek permission to share my knowledge, but only one of the four major courts has given it and even then once your eyes are opened they can ever again be closed.

So choose now mortal, do you enter and see the world how it truly is, or do you stay happy (and sane) in the world you know.
